Diploma in Pharmacy [2 years]
 

D. Pharm

The course of study for D. Pharm shall extend over a period of two academic years with each academic year spread over a period of not less than 180 working days in addition to 500 hours practical training spread over a period of not less than three months.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION TO D. PHARM COURSE

​

A candidate who passed the Higher Secondary Examination of the Kerala state with Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Mathematics as optional subjects or any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent there to are eligible to apply. (or)

​

V.H.S.C of Kerala from 1994-1995 session with Group A and B only are considered as equivalent examination for admission to D.Pharm course.

Bachelor of Pharmacy [4 years]
 

B. Pharm

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION TO B. PHARM COURSE

​

(i) Academic

     

Candidates should have passed the higher secondary examinations of the Government of Kerala or any other course treated as equivalent thereto with Physics , Chemistry as compulsory subjects and Biology/ Maths/ Biotechnology or Computer Science as optional subjects. Candidates should have obtained a minimum of 50% marks for the optional subjects and 50% marks aggregate for all the 3 subjects put together. However candidates who have passed their qualifying examination from outside the state of Kerala shall produce the certificate of recognition and equivalency of qualifying examination from any one of the universities in Kerala. Eligibility for admission to the candidates belonging to OBC,OEC,SC/ST will be as per the requirements of the concerned Universities.

(ii) Age     

​

Candidate should have completed 17 years of age on 31st December of the year of admission.Self attested copy of relevant page of school record namely SSLC/ CBSE/ICSC certificate showing the date of birth/copy of the birth certificate from appropriate authority should be furnished along with the application.

(iii)Nationality      

​

Candidates must be citizens of India.

B. Pharm (Lateral Entry)

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION TO B. PHARM COURSE - LATERAL ENTRY

​

Diploma in Pharmacy Candidate shall have studied in an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India and shall have passed the diploma examination conducted by the State Board of D Pharm Examinations (or)

 

equivalent and must have a minimum of 50% marks for the second year D. Pharm examination.

 

(For SEBC/ OEC candidates, 5% relaxation in marks is allowed and for SC/ST candidates a pass in the qualifying examination will be sufficient).

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION TO M. PHARM COURSE

Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs​

​

A candidate who has passed the B. Pharm Degree Examination of Kerala University of Health Sciences or an examination equivalent thereto of any other university recognized by the KUHS with not less than a total of 50% marks shall be eligible for admission to M. Pharm course. Candidates those who have passed their B. Pharm course outside Kerala will be eligible for admission only if their qualifying examination is recognized by the Kerala University of Health Sciences on the date of application/allotment.
